National Letter Writing Month

April not only brings showers and springtime, but its National Letter Writing Month.

A time for all of us to step away from the computer, internet and cell phones, pull out a pretty piece of paper or stationery and a pen and actually write a letter.

We’ve talked before about the importance of writing thank you notes, but a written letter is just as significant and even more overlooked. Letter writing has become a lost art, but this month try to challenge yourself to write at least one letter to a friend or loved one. They will be so excited to see something in their mailbox other than a bill or advertisement and writing a letter will make you feel good too.
