Paperpalooza is Back!

It's time once again for our annual Valentine’s Day Sale…Paperpalooza!! If you are the DIY crafter this is the sale you’ve been waiting for. We’ve bagged some of our favorite paper products along with pocketfolds, envelopes, glue dots, ribbon and scrapbook paper.

For a Valentine’s Day project we liked this idea from Martha Stewart

Tug at your valentine's heartstrings with an embellished envelope. Cut out the hearts from colored card stock using a specialty hole punch. Poke two holes into each heart with a needle, then sew the hearts onto dual-capacity envelopes using the needle and silk beading cord. Secure stitches with a double knot on the backside of the flaps. After inserting the valentine, close the envelope by winding a 5-inch length of the cord in a figure-eight motion around the hearts.

I Love Thank You Notes...and so does CBS

I absolutely love thank you notes! I think they are so important and one thing that is rarely thought about in today’s texting, emailing, social networking society. That is why I was so excited to see this article from CBS News Correspondent Steve Hartman.

With such fun patterns, how could you not want to write thank you notes all day! From the designs I chose to share on the blog, can you tell I’m ready for Spring!

Meet Virginia

We thought we would start the new year off with a new blog series. We’ve mentioned the Shara's Paperie team many times because, well, they’re awesome! But until now we have kept their identities secret. We decided it was time for a change! In the next few months we will introduce members of Shara's team and give you a little peak into their lives.

Virginia is the Creative Director and is responsible for so many of the beautiful designs you’ll find at Shara’s Paperie and Confections by Shara's Paperie. She draws inspiration from fashion, architecture and varies blogs. She loves the colors chartreuse and navy. Virginia stays up to date on the design world and regularly checks blogs like DesignSponge and Mrs. Lilien.

Her biggest obsessions are running, beer, music, multiple tv shows and cooking (which hands down she is the best around here). She loves to spend her free time with her husband and walking her dog Roy at the park.

When I asked her about her favorite Confections product she very excitedly said stationery! She also loves notepads and strongly believes you can never have too many lists or too many pads.

In her own words…I like to find new things to be obsessed with, and then learn everything I can about them. I love documentaries and How it Works. My husband and I have a dog and cat that are a constant source of entertainment.
